      Stock Controller Interview

      Oct 26, 2018
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Bath, Inglaterra
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Tesco (Bath, Inglaterra) in Oct 2018

      Interview

Before even getting an interview, you have to make a profile online, input your address, age etc, then it automatically starts to ask you some other straightforward questions like national insurance number, then on the same screen without warning it starts asking multiple choice questions about hypothetical situations, I didn't think much of it and just quickly chose questions that seemed logical without spending too much time, suddenly it stopped me and said, your application has been rejected based on your answers to the 'questionnaire'. SERIOUSLY, dumb system! Years of customer focused work experience, countless customer complements and this company is so dumb they let an online questionnaire decide who makes it for a human to human focused role, decided by a machine that doensn't understand humans or anything. Your resume is NOT taken into account if you don't pass this ludicrous test. Another large corporate company, more BS BS BS. Idiots in upper management out of touch with reality.

      Interview

Applied online. Called me to arrange an interview. Interview was around 20/30 mins, some competency based questions and others about more work-culture fits e.g. asking about hobbies, etc to see if you are well-rounded I guess? Gave clear and sufficiently elaborate answers. Was offered the job same day against a few dozen others which I was glad for.
