I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Target (Mundelein, IL) in Aug 2016
Interview
The first 1-1 interview went well. The second 1-1 was a bit rushed than I expected, felt like the guy didn't like me. Too many questions were asked. Took about 40 minutes.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Target (Louisville, KY) in Mar 2016
Interview
I applied online and sitting 2 weeks they called and set up a face to face interview. Upon arrival, I filled out a questionnaire of about 100 questions of how I feel (i.e. do I feel i work harder than other people. Do I like to be recognized for doing a good job). The first person to see me asked basic questions, previous work history, why I want to work for target. After I passed that, the second interviewer asked situational questions, when did I have to show leadership, what would I do if I saw someone stealing. And a clue others that I was completely not expecting for a minimum wage job... When I was finished, I was told I would hear from them in a couple of days. I received a call 2 days later offering me a job in the frozen food isle making 7.75 an hour. Needless to say, I turned it down for a higher paying job I applied to around the same time.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Target (Miami, FL) in Apr 2013
Interview
Very professional and basic. I sat down with the manager in the office at the store and apply to, and it lasted maybe half an hour to 45 minutes. I would recommend this job as an entry-level position but nothing long-term.
