I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Target (Houston, TX) in Sep 2011
Interview
The Target interview process is quite extensive. They take you through 5 to 6 separate interview days before making a decision. Almost all of the questionals are either situational or behavoroial, and they want you to show leadership qualities in every part of your answer. Overall, they're mainly looking for a "Target fit," but by using some specific leadership qualities they will no doubt think you were made for this job.

Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Can't think of one specifically, but probably something about giving upward, negative feedback. This company is based on being very transparent and being able to give appropriate feedback at all levels.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Target (Charlotte, NC) in Jul 2013
Interview
From the time I submitted my resume to the time a had an offer with was about 1.5 week. You interview with recruiter over the phone, he/she asks the get to know you questions and why you are interested in Target, then she/he moves on to situational questions. Then you are set up with an in person interview with the districit manager, same get to know questions (be sure to have a great story-- its ok to have personal touch, they encourage that). Last interview is with the group leader, can be over the phone or in person. All interviews are with "tell me about a time..." Give a specific situation, who you involved/steps to fix problems/actions, and the end results. Needs to be high scoped, so has to involve peer to peer or people above you in the hierarchy (your boss, teacher)

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Target (Chicago, IL) in Oct 2014
Interview
I applied online. I received an emai a week later asking me to schedule a phone interview. I scheduled a phone interview with a recruiter which last for 20 minutes. The recruiter sent me an online assessment to complete after the interview. The online assessment was a bit difficult. I received a call the following day to have a face-to-face interview and another phone interview. The face-to-face interview went well. All three interview questions were behavoria..name a time when..?
