I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Target (Houston, TX) in Apr 2015
Interview
Based off of preselected questions created by corporate. Honestly don’t remember much since this was done a while ago. I’m answering this so I can see one review. Had I known all this was involved, I would’ve gotten info a different way.
I had a phone screening and was invited for an in person interview. I set up my phone screen for 11AM and she called me at 10:30AM. The in person interview was very robotic. Interviewer had 4 pages with 4 questions on each side and asked each question one by one. Instead of having a conversation she focused on taking notes. No eye contact and she seemed bored. Looks like they already made their choice when I stepped in the door. I was told the interview would be 1 hour and was done in 20 minutes.
They want you to answer questions in the STAR method and ask a lot of questions about how you would handle situations (shows your leadership).

Interview
I was recruited at one of the college career fairs and that led to 3 additional interviews that took place over 2 weeks before I was offered the job. It was a good experience.
