I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Target (Fontana, CA) in Oct 2007
Interview
I had a total of 3 interviews for ETL Asset Protection, they where all situational questions but i feel the hardest one was the last one where they asked how you take negative feed back at work. I have not had any of course I'm not perfect but I have not had bad feed back situations.

Question 1
Tell me about a time when someone told you that the visual appearance of your work area was not acceptable. What was the situation? What did you do ? Was that acceptable?
The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Target in Jun 2009
Interview
The process began by me applying online as an employee referral. I was then contacted by phone with someone at HQ for a get to know you style interview. Following this initial screening I had a second phone interview a few days later dealing with behavioral questions. This call was with someone in my local market. After this last interview I have not received further correspondence. Unfortunately it has been some time and I do not know the status of my application as time has more than exceeded the 7-10 day time frame mentioned

Question 1
Tell me about a time you had to go against a manager?
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Target (Auburn, AL) in Jun 2009
Interview
I had heard great things about Target's ETL program, but wasn't impressed with the interview process. I showed up for my interview early (punctuality is very important to them) and the manager told me that he forgot that I was coming. I sat outside for about 30 minutes until he called me back, and asked me about 10 behavioral questions. (tell me about a difficult decision, etc) which I went through fairly quickly. This format was not my style and I didn't go nearly as in depth as they were looking for. I missed this, but they really just want you to talk. Use the STAR outline for best luck.
