I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at T-Mobile in Oct 2009
Interview
I began with an online interview, then it was followed by a phone interview. I then attempted to take an online test, but had some issues with that. Then went into the office to take the test. next came back to listen in on calls. Next I interviewed with 2 levels of management. I left knowing that they wanted me, but had to go through a background check first. 2 weeks later received an offer. I was given an option of start dates and went with the one that began after I finished my final exams. I graduated and started approximately one month after graduation with holidays between that time.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1

Interview
The hiring process was great! It consisted of a questionnaire then a phone interview followed by a 1:1 and then a background check. In all the process took less than a week to complete. The environment was professional yet relaxed. Some advice would be to know some facts about the company and to ask questions. Stay calm and be yourself.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at T-Mobile in Jan 2007
Interview
one interview and not very technical. I did work there. The people are nice enough but seem to be from a rather low-on-technology shop, especially the IT dept.
Managers are non-technical. So, they go with whoever BS's the most confidently. This leads to a lot of r"ock-star developer type" egos and over-all poor code. Sadly, if you are contracting, you are a second class citizen and even if you are technologically more savvy than the existing employees, you need to shut it.
Advancement is strictly by kissing ass.
