I applied online back in March on the Starbucks website and received a recruiter interview request in June via email with a link to schedule.
The recruiter canceled/no-showed on me TWICE. Both times she was unapologetic.
On the day of the recruiter interview, she canceled 5 minutes before the interview, asking to reschedule. She was not available for another week so I rescheduled for a date that's 2 weeks after, and surprise, she did not call. 15 minutes into our scheduled time, she emailed me and asked me to reschedule again.
After she's canceled on me twice, I wanted her to be the one that's proactive with rescheduling because obviously she is either very busy or has issues keeping up with her calendar. I asked her to send an invite at a time that works for her. However, no response still.
I think I can be understanding with the rescheduling but please be respectful with my time. If you're going to reschedule 5 minutes before the interview or 15 minutes after the scheduled interview time, then please, at the very least, be a little respectful and respond. Take ownership in rescheduling or let me know that you're not interested. I'm sure that if I was the one that canceled 5 minutes before or 15 minutes in, you would not be happy with me as a candidate.
This was my first time getting contacted by Starbucks for an interview, and it was a poor experience.
First had a phone screen call with a recruiter. then had one hour phone interview with hiring manager. the questions were general ML questions. then had an onsite. the interviewers asked coding questions and machine learning questions as well as SQL
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Starbucks (Seattle, WA)
Interview
Four 45 minute back to back one on one interviews. Each interview was different and focused on different things. One was technical while the others had to do with teamwork and details pertaining to Starbucks operations.
