I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Sogeti (Eindhoven) in Jun 2018
Interview
I had two interviews, the fist was about 30 minutes, and was a more general HR interview. Then if there is a match they invite you to do some online tests and depending on the results you are invited for a second interview, in which in my case, they offered the position. At the beginning the process is very fast and clear.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
First interview: Describe yourself, weaknesses, strengths, academic background
Second interview: Questions about the projects you have realized and topics of interest in the technical field. Expectations on the job, etc
I was contacted by the recruiter who I had a brief interview with. We covered my resume and some details about the position. After I scheduled another interview over the phone with another person. Went more in depth over the position and started getting technical. Had a really good conversation. Scheduled an in person interview after, however, they claimed to be really excited and couldn't wait for the in person so we scheduled over the phone on short notice. Covered the same stuff. The the recruiter then said they would make their decision by Friday but said my odds looked good. Did not hear back. Then they changed to Monday, again did not hear back. Emailed them one more time they apologized and said the hiring manager was busy and would get back to me tomorrow. Never heard from them again.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Sogeti (Vianen, South Holland) in Jan 2016
Interview
I was invited to come over and have a talk about what I was looking for and what they had to offer. When I arrived a very fun and energetic guy was there to give a short presentation of an hour. It felt like a sales pitch of the company, though very informative. I disliked the way he said it was a privelege to study for the job on your own time on top of working full time. But I guess that is different from person to person.
