I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Santander (Leeds, England) in Feb 2017
Interview
The interview process began with an invitation to pertake in an online test which is a combination of scenario and mathematics. I would say it involves mostly problem solving and the use of percentages so you can try familiarise yourself with that via online tutorials.
It took over a month before I actually got called by the agent regarding the role, which was rather surprising. A date was set for a telephone interview and this was mostly competency based questions which involved more scenario settings. So they ask of your experience in dealing with difficult situations. There's a STAR method that's highly recommended for answering these questions so you might want to familiarise yourself with that.
I was emailed that a schedule face to face with the branch director was going to take place in a week I think. Dress corporately, revise a lot of the percentage mathematics, fractions, how to cross multiply and also quickly matching digits accurately. Once I got there, I was set up to a test immediately and after that I was invited for a competency interview.
Also they will ask for your proof of identity and address so your tax letter, card, passport and all that type of documentation.
So far, those are the process and I was told they would get back to me soon.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Santander in Jan 2017
Interview
After applying online, I was sent some online tests such as numeracy, data accuracy and situational judgement, After passing these and the CV screening, I was invited to a telephone interview. Following this, I was invited to an assessment centre. I attended the assessment centre with 7 other candidates who had applied for the same job. It started off with a presentation about Santander, followed by an ice breaker and then a numerical and data accuracy test. Following this, we were given some information about a customer to prepare for a role play assessment with a team manager and then there was a competency based interview.
