Initial application, followed by an online test of math based questions, followed by phone interview and finally an interview which also included a math test. Math questions were pretty easy and a calculator was provided.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years.

Interview
Interview process was fairly straightforward and easy. Anyone with a bit of basic communication skills and knowledge can pass it.
First stage is just the introduction about yourself and then you get an induction on the business and what's expected of the role.
After that you get a written test which you need to complete in like 15 minutes. It's fairly straightforward and most of it is just basic maths, copying numbers and picking odd ones out etc.
Then you get to the role play exercise where you get to be an advisor and the interviewee will be the customer. They drop a few clues which you need to pick up on such as when the customer says they need to buy something they cannot afford (offer credit card or loan) and things like that but it is mentioned in the paper you're given on what you need to advertise. This one is dependent on how you approach on solving problems and your rapport building skills etc.
Finally you get the competency based questions which are a set of "Give me an example when you did this for a customer" or examples of outstanding service and so on. Make sure you plan for them a bit and have plenty of examples handy whether from your past roles or your current job.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Santander (Glasgow, Escocia) in Aug 2021
Interview
Fair process from start to finish. After being successful with the online questionnaire, I was invited to attend a telephone interview, before going on to do a video interview. The interviewers were very friendly and helpful, and looked to put you at ease at all times even when you got stuck.
Questions on customer service, risk, influencing others and time management were asked. Best way to prepare as always is to have examples in STAR format ready before your interview, and to be ready to ask good questions at the end of the interview. Don’t be afraid to ask for clarification on a question if you don’t understand what’s being asked!
