I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Salesforce in Sep 2016
Interview
The interviewer was very nice. He asked my resume first and let me illustrate my project in the white board. After that, he asked me a simple algorithm question and let me write on the white board. At last, I asked some questions about the daily life of summer intern and what kind of work did they do in their team. And then he introduced briefly about their team.

I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Salesforce (San Francisco, CA) in Feb 2016
Interview
Had a phone interview with an enthusiastic FutureForce recruiter, followed by a series of Skype interviews with the hiring manager and a few other team members. The recruiter called me a few weeks later with an offer and more details.
Overall, everybody was easy to talk to and emphasized how important it was that my questions were answered. Culture and diversity were also touched upon many times, which were great to discuss.
