Interview
You have to pass a drug test, backround test, and mechanical altitude test. They bring you into the conference room with the manager and operations manager. The manager will ask you questions while the operation manager sits in the corner and types on the computer and randomly asks questions . Best thing to do is make them laugh, they love laughing there.

Interview
This Interview took several hours (FOREVER). It was an open interview and I applied before I got there. Once I got into the interview, it was quick. The gentleman who interviewed me was quick, and I was offered a job on the spot. I went through some scripting, and did a sample computer and listening test. It was pretty easy. About 8th grade level.
After that, I did my acceptance of job information. This is where stuff got messed up. I was asked if I needed any pre-approved days off, I needed 5 days for a vacation and one for the local election that I was working. I was told that I was NOT allowed to work those days because they conflicted with the training. None of these days were noted on my file, and neither was the person who took my information down. It was incredibly difficult to get my vacation approved. I was not allowed to work that day either. Many people were allowed to take a day or so off during my training class for many different reasons.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Do you have any customer service experience?
Why do you think it is important to deliver a good customer experience?
Why do you think you are a good candidate for this position?
(I was also asked after reading the scripting if I have any acting experience)

Interview
First I had a phone interview with a recruiter. That was followed by a phone interview with the hiring QA Lead. The 3rd level of contact was an in person interview with the QA Lead and the QA Practice Leader.
The staff at Safelite (recruiter, and QA Leads) were very professional and courteous.
I enjoyed all my interaction with the staff and I felt the QA Lead did exceptionally well in interviewing me. She asked great questions, was very polite, explained the type of question she was about to ask me. She looked at me in the eye while I was answering the questions she asked. She did not have an papers with her printed from some site telling an interviewer how to ask interview questions. I specifically remember the questions concerning what I expected from a QA Manager and how do I communicate success to a QA manager. While I was ready for any technical or testing questions to be asked of me, I had not prepared for questions regarding what I expected of a QA manager. These were great questions and I should have been prepared to answer. those types of questions. It is a good lesson learned.
