Safelite AutoGlass interview questions

TLDR: Was recruited and ghosted. I had a recruiter reach out to me for a management position in Talent Acquisition. She talked up the company and the opening, and asked if I’d be interested in chatting with the hiring managers. I agreed. We had a pretty short call scheduled in which one manager was late. The tone of the interview felt odd. They phrased questions in a negative light. They were also clearly distracted and seemed to be messaging each other via chat. They may not notice how clear this is to the person they are interviewing. I would recommend debriefing after the interview and not discussing during the interview. For being recruited,I want to note that the hiring managers did not discuss the company or the role itself in detail. They asked questions about my background. When I was able to, I asked questions about the company, what a day in the role looks like, what training would look like, and they really had no answers. They just said everything was a work in progress and laughed nervously. It felt like from start of the call, they had no interest in the interview and were interviewing me out of obligation. I received no follow up of any kind after the interview. I would have been more disappointed if I actually invested a significant amount of time in this process. As someone who also works in this field, I take note to never ghost a candidate that was interviewed. They should also follow suit.

I applied and was contacted back very quickly. The interview process was through zoom and very easy. They then offered me the position on the spot and emailed me my offer letter and a link to schedule my drug testing.
