The interview process was fantastic.
Roche is extremely professional, clear, timely and candid.
The official interview process started with a recruiter getting in touch with me on email.
I then had my first interview with the recruiter on Skype, followed by 3 more interviews (Skype) with the hiring manager, predecesor in the role, and a stakeholder that the incumbent to the role would be working with.
Finally, the company flew me down to the Basel Headquarters for an assessment centre, in which I was asked to prepare a presentation (the question prompt was sent to me before-hand).
The assessment centre consisted of:
1. 2:1 interview (Senior business and HR leader)
2. Presentation (to a panel)
3. Business Case Study (relevant to the role) and subsequent presentation (to a panel)
They also called me and gave me very precise feedback about my performance in each of these stages - also with things that I could improve. They have been open, transparent and very fair in our conversations, going out of their way to outline potential areas of frustration that I could have with the role before hand.
