I applied online. I interviewed at Rippling in Jun 2026
Interview
1. Applied online
2. Recruiter response within 5 days of applying; scheduled teams meeting for initial screening with recruiter
3. Screening complete, recruiter passes info to manager of the team
4. 30 min Interview with team manager
5. Received decision within 3 business days
I was denied and unsure why as both screens went exceptionally well. I also come from one of their biggest competitors with years of experience. I was even told during the interview with the manager that I seem to know a lot about the role that I applied for. Unsure if they’re interviewing for market research or to actually hire qualified candidates. It was an ok experience. I’m a black woman located in TX.

Question 1
How many clients or projects you handle on average?
Overall Experience: Unprofessional, yet eye-opening
I applied in May 2026, then had a 1st round with a recruiter. The recruiter informed me that their interview process went as follows: 1st round, then 2nd with hiring manager, followed by a take-home case study, then a 4th behavioral round. The provided interview kit mentions as much, as it says explicitly that the recruiter would "help you prepare [for the case study] with appropriate guidance and resources."
The 1st and 2nd round actually happened, but there was no take-home case study. Instead, there was a surprise live case study in the 4th final round, contrary to their interview kit. The interviewer's demeanor during this case study was patronizing and dismissive. This bait-and-switch tactic was entirely unnecessary and unprofessional.
I received a rejection email 2 weeks later that encouraged me to ask for feedback, yet it was from a no reply email address.

Interview
Standard leetcode style question that is easy/medium difficulties. It was straight forward, AI is enabled too which is good, but not sure if it is a good idea to use it during the interview.
