I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Ralph Lauren (New York, NY) in Jan 2011
Interview
Was very informal and pleasant. Talked about what the job entailed, and what other duties all associates shared (like taking out the garbage, re-stocking the floor, inventory days, etc.) Manager wanted to know how many days per week I was available on a part-time basis. Asked if I knew any of the other associates or if I had ever worked at Polo before, etc.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
General questions about past work experience and work availability. There was also a "personality test" that everyone had to take and pass before you could start working.
went in it was a group interview of four. asked like 4 questions. then after I got a offer like two days later. what is the history of Ralph Lauren, how do you deal with a difficult customer, how do you deal with a difficult co worker.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Ralph Lauren (Londres, Inglaterra) in May 2025
Interview
The interview was conducted at a cafe, and was very relaxed and friendly, mainly involving questions such as "If you could design a new collection for Ralph Lauren, what would you design?" And "What are your goals with this company or this job?" The hiring manager was very personable and it was clear that they wanted to get to know my personality as much as my skills or ability to do the job.
Simple, one phone screening and one in person interview. They reviewed work history, sales experience, job responsibility, etc. Overall a very simple interview process. Be prepared to discuss scheduling availability.
