Interview process was structured and technical, focused on Java, problem solving, and fundamentals. Interviewers were professional and supportive. Questions were fair, difficulty moderate, overall positive candidate experience for me personally.
After submitting the application, I completed a coding test on Codility, which was followed by a technical interview with the team to discuss problem solving approach, experience, and suitability requirements.

Interview
Interviewers were professional and process was structured. However, management is still Japanese and to my surprise, someone leading the engineering team had a consulting background. I made it to the final round but got rejected. Even though I had 2+ years of experience, I found out they offered the role to someone who was a fresh graduate and cheaper to hire. Cost seems to be a major factor they consider. Also, engineering teams are male dominated, so if you're a female, you may not reach your full potential here as they seem to think you are less capable.
