They asked a few technical questions, all of them were very basic. I think I give them right answers, but still havent passed it. You never know what do them want.

Interview
I spent nearly 2 months interviewing at Cartera Commerce (Rakuten), only to be ghosted for weeks after completing all rounds. Despite my follow-ups, I received no response until a generic rejection email with no feedback whatsoever. For a company that claims to be “people-first,” this showed a complete lack of professionalism and empathy for candidates’ time and effort.
Coming to the interview process — it was fairly standard. Started with a screening call, followed by a technical round and multiple behavioral/team fit discussions. Most questions were not deeply technical, focused more on communication and cultural alignment. I gave my best and felt the conversations went well, which made the silent treatment even more frustrating.
Advice to candidates: Be cautious. A company’s hiring process reflects its values. If this is how they treat serious candidates after weeks of interviews, imagine how they treat employees.
