The hiring process consisted of a screening interview with the recruiter, an interview with the hiring manager, and finally a panel interview with two senior management members.
There were no unexpected questions, just standard early career engineer questions.
The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Plug Power (Rochester, NY) in Mar 2024
Interview
Phone Screen, followed by a recorded behavioral round (tell me about a time you struggled on a team project... ect.) Then finally, a technical round with the stack engineer and another senior level individual. Asked me to explain a lot of the technical details from projects on my resume. Seemed like they were trying to gauge my ability to explain complex topics in a simple way.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about a time you faced a critical challenge during a team project and had to pivot direction. What did you do to stay on track with project requirements?
3 rounds of them. 1 with recruiter and other with hiring manager. And then the last one regarding offer negotiation. One of the most important parts were I was interviewed last by the CMO herself.
