I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Pfizer in Mar 2023
Interview
Conducted multiple interviews with HR (at least twice on the phone), and the hiring manager, and presented data followed by a panel interview. I had another follow-up interview with the principal scientist. After 1-2 months of back-and-forth communication, the director decided to expand the candidate pool and put me on the waiting list (as their 2nd choice). I was led to the prospect of getting an offer (breadcrumbed) but never really got it. It felt like I wasted my time committing to an indecisive hiring team so I pursued another opportunity. Technical questions are easy as long as you have expertise in the field. I was not expecting a lot of personal questions (like hobbies, favorite forms of media, etc.).
