I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Novartis in Oct 2025
Interview
First interview with hiring managers: 30 minute video call, fairly general background questions and getting to know each other
Second and final interview: 45 minute seminar presentation, then 30 minute interviews with 2-3 employees. Instead of an on-site interview, this was all through Zoom, but allowed for interviews across different sites, from Cambridge, Emeryville, and Basal. The schedule started with the seminar (with questions, a total of 1 hour), then one 30 minute interview, then a 2 hour break (for lunch). Then, two 30 minute interviews, another hour break, and a final 30 minute interview with the hiring managers again. Overall, this was a fairly casual process, the employers mostly asked questions about the seminar and talked or answered questions about Novartis.
Timely and straightforward with clear instructions. I need to present about my research to a board of interviewer from the company, then they ask follow up questions, then 2-3 letters of recommendation are required
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Novartis (Basilea) in Jan 2024
Interview
It was a 20 minutes telephonic interview with 4 persons. They were really nice and kind. We engaged an interesting discussion on the role and the team. Despite not having a positive answer, they took the time to give me some feedback about the interview.
