After my online application I received an email setting a time slot for a phone interview in 3 days. Very professional phone call with a interviewer from HR asking more details about my experience. The interviewer was nice and efficient but firm. 3 days later I received a answer but email saying that my background was impressive but that do not fulfilled that specific industry`s requested experience.

Interview process consists of 2 rounds. First round is a telephonic interview and second round is onsite interview. Interview is simple and revolving around the basics of embedded systems like communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C and lot of questions on SPI; C programming, resume walkthrough, project related questions and hardware debugging issues.

How to reduce the hysteresis curve in the embedded circuit by using software. SPI related questions such how to initiate a transaction from slave to master. UART related question such as RTS bit functionality, CTS functionality. Drawbacks between Asynchronous and synchronous communications.
