It was a campus placement drive. First round was Cocubes test that included Quantitative, Logical, Technical (Computer networks & Operating systems) and Active Directory Mcqs. 150 out of 900 students got selected for the GD round.
In the GD round , we were asked which topic we wanted to have group discussion on. Majority said Reservation, so we were given 3-4 minutes to think about the topic and got 15 minutes to discuss on it. 7 out of 12 students got selected from our group. (But it was not the case in other panels. My friends from other panels told me that they were given technical topics and much less time to discuss on the topics). So mainly focus on technical topics with some knowledge of current issues as they may be given.
Next round was technical interview. There were two interviewers and they initially made me feel comfortable. They were very friendly but trust me they will rip you apart (don't mistaken their friendly behavior with leniency). I was asked about my favourite topics from the subjects I mentioned i.e. OS, CN and Active directory (which they actually expect a support engineer to know).
After some questions from CN and OS (which I will be attaching below) they came to troubleshooting. That single question was discussed for about 35 minutes out of 60 minutes of the interview. I gave many answers but they didn't seem to be satisfied with my answers.
After the technical interview round there are Managerial and HR interview which I couldn't make it to.
Finally 20 students cleared the HR interview round but since they wanted only 14 students they further simply eliminated 6 students (I don't know on what basis).
P.S. There were relatively easy and direct questions in other panels.
