Applied online and later got an email to schedule my interview which was convenient since I got to choose which day and time. I went in and was interviewed by a lady. She was nice, but professional and asked me several questions. She then offered me a position at the end of the interview and I went from there.

Interview
I filled out an online application for a seasonal position, and Macy's contacted me via e-mail two days later. I self-scheduled an appointment for an interview. When I arrived, I waited for a few minutes before interviewing with a human resources executive.
Among the things mentioned during the course of the interview were the pay structure (base/draw) and the dress code (all black).
At the end of the interview, my interviewer said that he/she was unsure if there was actually an opening, despite the fact that there was a specific position title advertised on the website, and that he/she would contact me by telephone next week if there were one.
