I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Macy's (Columbus, OH) in Nov 2017
Interview
Applied online and got a phone call a week later for an interview. I screen my calls so I did not pick up the call but, I got an email stating it was Macy's (OH office) waiting to interview me. The position I applied for was no longer available, Sales Support, so they gave me about three more options. I said I would like the cashier position or what they call a Ringer. Was asked a bunch of questions and was given an offer right after. When I did my second day of training they did not know where to put me, the position was filled but, since Macy's hired me and I completed training, I did have a position by end of the day.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
A woman read me a bunch of questions off a sheet about how I handled people. Standard BS questions because I am speaking to someone and they should get an idea of how I deal with people by means of the phone call.
