I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Johnson Controls (Pune) in Oct 2015
Interview
First of all I did not like the interview process from JC. I was called for C++ developer position and when i went for a Face-to-Face scheduled interview, i was first told to take a test. And i was Ok with it. But when i saw paper it was a C test rather then C++, just one question asked from virtual functions that's it. Also the paper was designed not to test how well you have command over C and C++ concepts, but how well you know how compiler works with tricky C questions and where confusing. Also the HR to me looked like some tester who was also doing part time as HR job.
My advice is if you are C++ programmer working on OOPs concepts on your day to day basis. This is not the right job/company for you.

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Johnson Controls (Singapur) in Oct 2011
Interview
Good, questions are more on the experience, technical or industry knowledge. More than 2 weeks after the interview, I had to find out from the agency if I am still in the running.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Johnson Controls (Madison, WI) in Sep 2015
Interview
I had two back to back 30 min interviews. The first interview was behavioral questions and questions about the company, while the second was going over my resume. Both interviewers were very nice and relaxed, but seemed to be doing it as a formality. They also didn't seem to be prepared for my questions.
