I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at IBM (Armonk, NY) in Aug 2016
Interview
Extensive, initial call with manager, in-person interview with manager, senior manager, then senior VP. Sprinkled phone interviews with everyone else on the team (4-6 people). Senior manager asked for a 2 page write up on a specific IBM product and for some ideas on how it could be incorporated to specific project work. Once they want to start making an offer, you work with an external recruiter which was a strange experience, but that's when you have to negotiate hard for what you want.

Interview
It is some what lengthy and slow process. Not much preparation needed for interview. Questions are kind of average and easy to answer with experience. Most of the time interviewers are looking at a candidate on how he/she is going to handle pressure situations.

Interview
Truthful and authentic, i.e., genuinely seeking to match the candidate's qualifications with the best position available. The interviewers were experienced and asked relevant questions. Additionally, the interviewers review the job requirements and benefits for working with IBM.
