Hilton Security Officer interview questions

I was contacted by a Hilton Worldwide internal recruiter. I had a phone interview that went well and was told I would be moving forward in the process. The senior recruiter sent me an e-mail telling me the per hour pay for the position and asking if the pay was acceptable to me. I said yes it was acceptable. About a week later I receive an e-mail from that same senior recruiter telling me that my pay scale was too high for the position...um I never gave a pay scale?!? The senior recruiter was the one and only one that mentioned pay and I accepted the rate of pay she had told me. I think the recruiter made a mistake and didn't realize it. I contacted her and advised her that I never gave a range and she didn't contact me back. Very unprofessional.

I had applied for the position on April 15th and got a call on April 16th for an interview. I first interviewed with the HR Director and the Assistant HR Director. Things went really well and they informed me that there would be a 2nd interview with the Security Director. After a week had gone by I had my interview with the Security Director. Everything sounded so wonderful and I was offered the position the next day via email. I accepted the offer and was very excited for this new opportunity.
