Hearst interview questions

Hiring was preceded by a short phone interview. They were very straight up, and I felt like they were honest normal nice people. They have a process of starting people as freelancers, which is what I did. A trial of sorts. The trial doesn't pay as well, but, if they like your work, then they offer a position. The trial pay is fair tho.

Applied online. Interview process consisted of two interviews with editorial leads. In both interviews focus was mainly on personality and interests as the role was entry level. I feel for them it was getting someone enthusiastic who would be willing to learn on the job and show a great deal of passion for what they were working on.
