I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at H&M (New York, NY) in Feb 2011
Interview
Basic questions were asked. They wanted to find out about my past experiences, weaknesses, strengths, and more basic stuff, nothing to advanced. It was an easy interview and basically anyone should be able to get the job if they come across as hardworking and happy to work with customers efficiently, as well as working as a team with other employees effectively.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at H&M (New York, NY) in Nov 2011
Interview
Had two interviews, both were pretty easy and straight forward. Both times I met with a manager from within the store I applied for. The questions varied from personal ambition questions to customer service questions. They touched on some of my past experience and gave me customer service scenarios. They also asked me about my availability and if working certain days would be an issue. For example, I believe it's mandatory to work Black Friday.
