I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at H&M (Los Angeles, CA) in Feb 2014
Interview
I was able to get an interview thanks to employee referral. I was called and asked a few simple questions about my availability and was asked to come in for an interview. I came in 15 minutes early and waited that long for the interviewer. I was interviewed for about 20 minutes. It was pretty average interview questions. They want to see if your personality fits their store and if your previous experience will help you out. I got called 2 days later for an interview with the GM. I went in and it was in her office. She was asking more or less the same questions and surprisingly offered me a position on the spot.

I applied online. I interviewed at H&M (Dundalk) in Mar 2026
Interview
It was lovely, very interactive. Getting to meet new people, seeing the H&M store was really nice. The supervisor was really professional and warm. First we got to know each other, then did a question and answers round with everyone, situation based, customer service based, questions to display your skills etc, talking about H&M values and then we had a group task, to come with a outfit based on the provided situation.
