I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Forcepoint (Herndon, VA) in Jan 2017
Interview
Interview was part of an open house. Interviewer keep looking at his phone during interview and all positions had been filled by the open house time (information was obtained from recruiter who was in the lobby chatting with another employer)
If they had positions already filled then information should have been conveyed earlier. Positions that were offered not local and the interviewer had no desire to expand his team
I provided recruiter with my clearance status and she stated I should still attend. Not
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Forcepoint (San Diego, CA) in Feb 2015
Interview
Interview started with the recruiter introducing me to different team members (manager, other software engineer, etc). Had a panel interview with hiring manager and two team members (lasted 30 minutes?) Technical questions on Java and platform integration followed by some friendly chat. They seemed comfortable with my knowledge based on background/experience. Focus was more on being able to hit the ground running.

Most difficult question: Can you accept less than your current position?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Forcepoint (Austin, TX) in Aug 2014
Interview
Took an aptitude test at home (which they no longer require). Next day, took again in office and was interviewed by future manager. Casual interview talking about general hiring topics. Next day interviewed by VP of the department. Still casual but more of a "this is what you can expect working for me" interview.
