I applied in-person. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at FedEx (Hagerstown, MD)
Interview
The overall interview process was done in person without an appointment. Before the interview, all the interviewees are escorted through the main Fedex facility by a member of HR. Interviewees are then introduced the basic roles carried out day to day (unload and load side).
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at FedEx (Grove City, OH) in Jun 2015
Interview
This interview is very easy. Basically they just give you a run down of what the job is and what the work and facility is like and ask if you really want to work there. They get consent for background check/etc. I honestly forget if they asked anything substantial. They may have asked if I was ready for some hard work, that was about it. This is an easy job to get. Process maybe took 10 days between application, sort view, and hiring.
I applied in-person. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at FedEx (Pflugerville, TX) in Jun 2016
Interview
Pretty brief and quick, you sit down with one of the HR managers almost immediately after your sort observation. I had a fun time with the interviewer and it's nothing to be scared about.
