be reasonable, know why you want to work there and what it is they do from theyre website. The interview is not so bad, there are some math questions without a calculator, some set theory questions, and couple of 10 min interviews, which target your judgement and work ethic, and technical skills.

I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at FDM Group in Jan 2015
Interview
After sending my CV to FDM Group via their website, the next day I received a phone call from a lady (Ms recruiter), informing me that they reviewed my CV and found it interesting, therefore they called me to set a date for 'phone interview'.
The phone interview is pretty basic, the questions were:
- What FDM does? (To see how much you've researched about them)
- Do you know some of our clients names?
- Why did you choose IT? (To evaluate your level of passion for your IT)
- Why did you choose software development/software engineering?
- Where do you see yourself in five years? (To see how goal oriented you are)
They also pay attention to your style of communication and how you articulate your answers.
Few hours after the phone interview, I received an Email with the title 'Congratulation, you have passed'. It is basically a short email congratulating you, and letting you know that you will receive another phone call to schedule the final step which is assessment day.
You will be asked to be present at the assessment centre by 9 A.M. or earlier.
We were 12 people in total, 6 from IT background and 6 from Business background.
By 9:10 they checked the required documents (passport, driving licence, degree/transcript, proof of address etc.).
By 9:30 the head of recruitment introduced himself and asked each of us to
- Introduce ourselves
- Name the university from which we were graduated from
- How did we hear about FDM
- Mention something exciting about ourselves.
Finally we saw a short video and presentation about FDM, its clients and potentials of working at the FDM Group.
After the video and presentation each person is called to have his/her interview. There are 3 one-to-one interviews, each interview lasts almost 5 minutes. My advice for you is to show passion and care for why you chose your course and a deep sense of interest for learning in your career. Interviewers are extremely kind and considerate, so you won't be stressed or worried at all. It's better to pause a bit and answer a sound response rather than respond quickly in panic.
After the interviews, you will do Aptitude test. It's combination of intelligence test, mixed with general knowledge in English (tricky questions), general knowledge in IT, general knowledge in Business and management.
After the test you will have an hour break. After the break you will do a short Venn diagram test which is extremely easy if you revise and practiced beforehand.
And finally there is math test. It is basic math, nothing too complex but be careful some of the questions can be a tiny bit tricky.
After the mathematics test you will fill a basic form to fill. It's not a contract, just a simple form to make sure you understood conditions such as 'three months of training is unpaid' and so on.
Last but not least, they will contact you in 2 working days and let you know if you've passed the assessment tests.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Let's say you will deal with people from a different culture, how do will you interact with them?
Telephone interview - 10 to 15 mins nothing too hard. Relatively straightforward and pretty simple phone interview compared to other companies I had done interviews with. The questions where mainly along the lines; Why the IT Industry? Why the FDM Group?
