I applied online. I interviewed at FDM Group (Londres, Inglaterra) in Nov 2015
Interview
Initial screening followed on by video interview. If successful then you are invited along to one of their many assessment centre days.
Various assessments and a couple of interviews during the day.
I left the assessment with a positive view of the company.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at FDM Group (New York, NY) in Aug 2016
Interview
The hiring process is as follows.
Before assessment day: You'll get a call interview from one of there interviewers early in the morning. It's extremely easy.
On assessment day: Four part assessment test where two of the parts have nothing to do with what your applying for. Signing the contract(Don't). Lunch. Then finally, a three part interview with three different people, 5 minutes each. One technical, two behavioral. This all starts at 9:00am and ends at around 3:30pm. That's six hours without commute.
general impression: the exams are too easy and thus prove nothing. The interviews hold the most weight. Too bad you have to wait till 2:00pm to get to these interviews. Also getting the contract before you are even selected for the position is quite the red flag.
Biggest problem: The interviewer who did the technical review is very biased. The interviewer presented a passive aggressive attitude. She demonstrated misconduct by rolling her eyes, cutting you off mid sentence/answer, and telling you what you got "wrong"(which I didn't) as I left for the second interview. She demonstrated an eagerness to leave by rushing questions and bolting out the door after the interview ended. Lastly, she demonstrated disrespect; in combination with the above, as I went to give her a handshake, she gave me a look of surprise and disgust followed by one of those half hand shakes where if you don't hold back, you can end up crushing the fingers.
This ultimately lead me to failing the other interviews because I was very shaken up and felt like I was trash in their eyes.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at FDM Group (Leeds, England) in Sep 2016
Interview
The process was quite easy. Needed to reset the assessment day because of the dress code. Got the offer but unpaid training doesnt look very good for me. WIll do more background checks also reviews checks and then decide final answer.
