Question 1
What can you bring to FDM even though you don't have experience in IT?
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at FDM Group in Jan 2017
Interview
There are 5 rounds including the assessment and essay. The process was great - 2 phone interviews (5 minutes long and 30 minutes long) and 2 skype interviews as well (behavioral and technical).
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at FDM Group (Leeds, England) in Mar 2017
Interview
Firstly, i submitted my CV on their website. A week later i got a call discussing the processes of the further interviews and what would be expected of me during the assessment centre.
Before the assessment centre there is a four question video interview to complete, which where rather easy questions. It is worth practising typical interview questions, because it is a recorded interview and you are not speaking to someone, which is a strange experience and something i struggled with.
The assessment centre is half a day long, at either their Leeds or London academy. No reimbursement is offered on travel or overnight stay.
There were 3 five minute interviews, and 3 tests, including: Numerical reasoning, logic based and literature analysis. These are all relatively easy, and the information you receive before these is very helpful. I do advise doing a quick revision on BBC bite-size Maths, there are a few curve balls in the maths test.
