Question 1
Tell me a bit about yourself? What do you know about FDM? What is your understanding of the IT industry? How do you keep up to date with the latest IT news?
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at FDM Group (Londres, Inglaterra) in Sep 2015
Interview
The role of a systems analyst can also be defined as a bridge between the business problems and the technology solutions. Here business problems can be anything about business systems, for example the model, process, or method. The technology solutions can be the use of technology architecture, tools, or software application. So System Analysts are required to analyze, transform and ultimately resolve the business problems with the help of technology.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at FDM Group (Londres, Inglaterra) in Jun 2016
Interview
1. Apply online sending in your CV
2. Recruiter will call asking to arrange a time for a telephone interview.
3. Telephone interview is short, between 5 - 10 minutes. Questions include your history to date and why you want to become a consultant. Very straightforward.
4. If you are successful, you will be invited to an assessment centre. It includes a presentation (be prepared for this as you will be asked questions to demonstrate your knowledge of the role and company. This is your time to shine). Next there are three tests, a general test (IQ, IT (programming languages), a maths test (GCSE level maths - no calculator) and a venn diagram test. The next part is a tour around FDM's London office, where you can look around and ask questions. Finally there are three short one-on-one interviews. Each interview has a different topic, and will have a set of four questions. Topics included - your university course, IT interest and one random interview with questions such as 'Is organisational change a good thing?'
5. If you pass the assessment centre you will be offered the job.
