I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Elsevier in Dec 2021
Interview
My interview process was 3 months long, there were three rounds. Cleared all three rounds, and HR asked for my documents. I have shared all the documents and waited for another two weeks for my offer letter. After two weeks I called HR and got the answer that there is some reconsideration related to this profile due to covid. I did not receive any written communication regarding the same. So for me, it was a frustrating experience and complete waste of time. Such type of behavior is not expected from MNC like Elsevier.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Elsevier in Aug 2021
Interview
Interviewed 4 times via phone and zoom and also took an online assessment. Was told I would hear something in a week and got ghosted. At least have the courtesy to send an email saying you're no longer under consideration be professional.

I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Elsevier (Gurgaon, Haryana) in May 2016
Interview
Couple of round of interviews of very generic questions about yourself and the previous work that you have done. Nothing too specific or difficult to answer. The interviewer was Dr. Rao, I guess he was VP or something at that time.
