EY Software Engineer - Java Developer interview questions

I attended on 14-May-2016. Interview process was pathetic. I was informed as it is a scheduled F2F interview but it turned out to be walk in drive. After 2 hours delay, they made us take up written test. This had 12 questions out of which 5 were on "Inner class", 2 on assertion! Not at all diverse enough to eliminate candidates. But they eliminated about 75% people in this round. I got through this. Next was F2F. I was the first person to be called in. I was asked 3 questions. Of which first I answered correct.; second I was partially correct; 3rd I explained the logic and said I cant recollect the syntax. For this response was - " you can leave for the day" !!! It was not a all a graceful discussion to understand one's strength and weakness. I would not call it a discussion at all. Interview sounded very inexperienced. I am sure they were just getting rid of the count. Very bad experience overall.

I am 4+ Java Developer working only with prod companies, The person asked me basic question he gave me Arraylist al = new arraylist(); al.add() few dummy and than asked me to add element at first , i said al.add(0,"ELEMENT"); He said noo and told me it wil not work thr is methid called addfirst() API He laughed at me and i laughghed at his ignorance as he was Confusing himself AL with LL moment we saw my laugh he rejects me .. Happy to get separated with this at early stage :)
