EY has made moves towards a more online-based initial interview process. The first interview was held online via a video interview where we were asked to listen to pre-recorded questions and record our answers. Soon after we had a “pre-interview meet” dinner where all the candidates were introduced to many of the employees from EY on a casual basis. Finally, interviews consisted of two interviews back to back with one to two employees from EY within each interview. After the interviews were completed we were informed of their decision within one to two weeks.

Interview
Applied online, then a week later received their call via telephone, as a preliminary interview. They set me up a meeting face-to-face with two HR employees, followed by a face-to-face interview for the following week with an audit manager. The process was very straightforward since it took less than 3 weeks to begin working.

I applied through other source. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at EY (Adelaida) in Jan 2018
Interview
The interview was really great. The partner and senior manager who interviewed me was genuinely interested in me and how I would fit in at EY. The interview was really like a conversation between us and it felt really comfortable. I can see that they are really interested in hiring me rather than treating it like a grilling process like some other firms.
