ERNI Java Developer interview questions

The interview consisted of 3 main phases, after the initial phone call. The first one was a home assignment. You had to work on a given project, to model and implement a certain system in 3 hours. Nothing too complex, but it took a lot of time. They use this project just to get an idea about your design and coding skills and style, and can be used as a base for discussion in the next phase, if you get there. The next phase was a typical interview, followed by a short HR meeting. It was an hour and a half long discussion about multiple topics related to software development, from design patterns, to concurrency control, collections, ORMs, Spring, coding style, and some other Java questions (autoboxing/unboxing, catch/finally). In the final interview you meet the people responsible with the project and it's an opportunity for them to know you and to decide if you are a good fit for the team. We discussed expectations and responsabilities and other management related topics. I did not get any feedback.
