I applied online. I interviewed at Deloitte (Hyderabad)
Interview
The interview process was smooth and well-organized. Though I didn’t get selected due to a requirement mismatch, it was a valuable experience, and the interviewers were highly professional and friendly throughout the process.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
1. Walk me through your CV.
2. Describe the latest most difficult project you have handled.
3. What tools you have used in your past work, how they were useful.
Medium- They wanted some sort of experience which I didn't have. Despite answering all the questions correctly they didn't qualify me for the next round of interview. Overall it was an okay experience.
I applied through college or university. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Deloitte (Bangalore Rural) in Dec 2023
Interview
The interview lasted for around 40 to 45 minutes and was structured as a mix of technical and behavioral questions. It wasn’t overly stressful — the panel maintained a professional and conversational tone, which made it more of a discussion than a grilling session.
One of the most important things I’d recommend is to know your resume inside out. The interviewer referred to specific points from my experience, so be prepared to justify every line with clear, relevant examples — especially around projects, tools used (like Excel or Power BI), or leadership roles. They appreciated detailed, structured responses, particularly when I explained my contributions and the impact of my work.
While the questions were straightforward, clarity and confidence in your answers go a long way. Even if you're unsure about something, it’s better to stay calm, explain your thought process, and respond honestly. Overall, it was a balanced experience, and a good opportunity to showcase both technical knowledge and how you approach real-world problems.
