I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Databricks (Londres, Inglaterra)
Interview
The interview process for this technical role was comprehensive: Recruiter screening, Hiring Manager discussion, Technical Assessment, in-depth Tech Discussion, Panel Interview with team members, and a final meeting with the Director. Each stage evaluated both technical skills and cultural fit
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Databricks (Brisbane) in Jan 2025
Interview
1. Hiring Manager - wanted to understand previous experience, motivations for wanting to work at Databricks, and other behaviour-based questions.
2. Technical with Solutions Architect and Senior SA - I bundled out at this stage. Make sure you read up on cloud concepts if you're not intimately familiar with them!
I applied online. I interviewed at Databricks (München, Bavaria)
Interview
I found the Databricks interview process to be quite outdated and unnecessarily lengthy. The multiple stages and typical, boring interview questions seemed more time-consuming than efficient, often feeling like a drawn-out ordeal. The format could definitely be streamlined, with a more focused and concise approach that would allow candidates to demonstrate their skills without wasting so much time. Overall, it is a below-average experience for mid/senior professionals
