They're not serious about interviewing or hiring, especially during COVID, and are just doing the process to keep people busy. If a recruiter approaches you, run. It's a waste of time unless you're unemployed and got nothing better to do. They take a long time to schedule anything, make you jump through many hoops, and have no consideration that candidates have to take time off work to do their bs interview modules. And they don't even have the decency to stay in the timeline that they promised. Very unprofessionally handled.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Another run of the mill interview with questions that have nothing to do with the role or technical skills.
I applied online. I interviewed at Capital One (Washington, DC)
Interview
2 Case Interview Questions, one was about rates, I forget the other, 1 Behavioral Interview Question. Maintain eye contact and explain everything! They did take us on a tour of the facility, which was nice. Additionally, all interviewees were welcomed to the facility's cafeteria for lunch.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Capital One (Toronto, ON) in Jan 2020
Interview
Total of 3.5 hours long. Consisted of 2 case studies (1 hour each), a behavioural interview (1 hour), and a job fit interview (30 minutes). Each part was conducted by a different interviewer, and everyone was incredibly friendly. They even gave me an office tour and chatted with me about the environment and atmosphere of working there.
