CIBC interview questions

It was okay.. first interview was of 20 mins , basic questions and after that got a call that i m selected for second one , it went well but they told me the position is already full and i m in pool for other position whenever it would b available. Nd when it gets available, i emailed them to remind about me and they said now they got better candidates , so unprofessional and unfair and illogical, firstly how can they fill a position without conducting the complete interview process , like they told me while second interview that the position is filled , then what the hell they were interviewing me for and if they put me in pool then why the hell they got other candidates from , extremely unprofessional.
