Process was very straight forward. applied on the CIBC job website. received an email on a Monday for telephone interview on Friday. Was informed that i will be moving forward with face to face on Monday the following week. received on a call on Friday the same week that i was hired .

Interview
First came a phone interview with general questions, after that an in person interview at the CIBC downtown headquarters in Montreal. Interviewer was fair but rigid and maybe a little intimidating for some people. Asked scenario specific questions in order to determine what kind of person you are based on your reactions.

do you think this is more a servicing job or a sales job?
Received an email right on the next day after my resume and cover letter were dropped at the career open house. I had a phone interview first, which was going over previous experiences, resume and yourself. The second phone interview was with a manager. She asked about availability and willingness to travel and make outbound calls; then moved on to behavioural questions. She mentioned about face-to-face interview as a next step.
