Overall it was a great and pleasant experience. Everyone that I spoke to, over the course of 1 phone call with the hiring manager and one zoom call, was extremely easy to talk to and made the process much less stressful than anticipated.

Question 1
What would you bring to the team that would add value?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at CBRE (Los Angeles, CA) in Jan 2019
Interview
It was the strangest interview I've ever had where the interviewer just rambled on and on and didn't ask me a single question except if I had read about their publications. It didn't last long as I soon found out the position is not remotely related to the scope of analysis that my degree in research operations covers.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at CBRE (Washington, DC) in Jun 2017
Interview
I met with the Research Team Recruiter in an office outside the D.C. metro area because she had work to do out there that day. After speaking with her for 30-45 minutes, she wanted me to meet with other members of the firm. I then took an Uber to their main downtown office where I had lunch with a first year analyst, and two interviews with other members. All of the interviews were all behavioral and personal questions, as well as the general explaining of past experiences of internships.
