Submitted resume via friends referral. Got interview very soon, and the HR was very friendly, helping to coordinate my time with 3 interviewers respectively. The entire process was pretty quick, around 2 weeks.

Interviewer spoke way too quickly. Not enough time given for complicated code design. Interviewer was late and busy, also rushing to go for his lunch. Be prepared if you are having an interview with ByteDance. This was in ChengDu China
