I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Boeing (Atlanta, GA) in Sep 2015
Interview
I applied in response to an email sent from my major advisor (Electrical Engineering). After about a week, I received a phone call to schedule an on campus interview. They notified me of the results 2 days later
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What was a difficult problem you encountered and how did you solve it?
STAR Method. Same questions I've had in other interviews with the company. Very dry and reserved interviewers. They did not deviate from the script at all so I felt as if they weren't really getting to know my personality and how I'll truly do at the job.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Boeing (Chicago, IL) in Nov 2014
Interview
I had a structured interview over the phone where they asked me 4-5 questions. It was a conference call with several Boeing employees on the line. I got the impression that they were rating how I answered the questions using a specific rating system, so it wasn't a very conversational interview, but more question, answer, question, answer, etc.. It was pretty straightforward behavioral questions and did not last very long. I was called the next day saying that I got an internship offer, so the whole process only took about a week.
