Interview
I filled in an online application that included uploading my CV and answering the usual roll call of personality questions. I was then invited for an interview with the regional manager in the city centre. The interview was scheduled for 6 weeks after I had been accepted.
The interview was very formal. I spoke with the regional manager while a branch manager wrote down everything that I said. The questions were the usual "Can you state a time" questions and I tried my best to answer them honestly. The regional manager was very friendly and made the experience enjoyable.
I was declined the job around 3 days later, and feedback was available. On the whole however the feedback process was not very useful. The lady who spoke to me on the phone read through the regional managers notes in a very monotone and unenthusiastic way. It was a bit patronising when she unenthusiastically told me that I didn't have the enthusiasm for Barclay's.
On the whole this was an enjoyable interview and the company seemed solid. Bare in mind that it is a very corporate setting. I wouldn't recommend this company as an interview prospect for autistic people. I declared my Asperger in the application, but obviously the condition held me back from being successful with this company. If you are autistic however and want to get more practise with job interviews then go for it, they are very friendly and welcoming.

The process took 2 days. got a telephone interview the day after i got my documents through and was called up for an interview the day after. the interview is conducted by a recruitment agent as it was temporary placement,

I applied online it took about 2 weeks, then I received email to book interview date, I attended It was competency based questions. Interview took more then an hour. Results of interview was received after 1 week
